Dr. Thokozani Simelane
Programme Leader for Science and Technology (AISA), Human Sciences Research Council of South Africa
Dr. Thokozani holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Doctorate of Engineering (D. Eng) in Industrial Engineering. He currently serves as a Programme Leader for Science and Technology at the Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA), which is within the Human Sciences Research Council. He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Tshwane University of Technology, SARCHI Chair on Science, Technology and Innovation Studies, has published in many international scientific journals and eight books.
The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) of South Africa is Africa’s largest dedicated social science and humanities research agency and policy think tank.It primarily conducts large-scale, policy-relevant, social-scientific projects for public-sector users, for NGO’s and international development agencies in support of development nationally, in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and in Africa.
